Assisted processes

Computer-assisted manual processes for the production, testing, and quality control of electronic devices.

Our portfolio

Human resources optimization.

Assisted processes reduce the impact of employee turnover by shortening the training time for new or substitute workers. Support for multiple language versions of guides broadens the range of employees able to quickly adapt to the position.

Interoperability.

Individual workstations can be interconnected using the Testera Connect supervisory software and integrated with inventory systems, ticketing systems, CRM platforms, or servers for generating licenses and serial numbers.

Implementation of processes and standards.

The reporting system is capable of providing qualitative and quantitative metrics that enable optimization of individual and team activities. Records and reports document every step of the process, ensuring traceability and offering the possibility of retrospective review when resolving incidents. Output reports can be used as input for Business Intelligence processes or assist in implementing processes and quality management.

Improved quality and efficiency.

Workers have at their disposal a tool that clearly guides their activities, monitors them, and performs certain tasks on their behalf. The system is capable of measuring electrical and non-electrical quantities, programming devices, recording bus data transmissions, creating documentation photos, assigning licenses and serial numbers, and many other activities—all of which it documents and stores in structured reports.

Client-oriented approach.

We are able to customize the offered solutions according to the customer’s needs and provide deployment directly at the workplace.

Simplification of process and standards implementation in production

Our solution

Production processes for CAN Guru devices (internal use)

A printed circuit board populated by the manufacturer (SMD components only) is stored in the warehouse, awaiting a production request. Upon receiving the request, the production operator retrieves the board and uses an assisted testing system to test and program it, assemble additional parts, and assign a serial number to the product. After quality control, the product is packaged along with the required accessories. Complete reports and a record of the serial number assignment on the license server are available for this process.

Implementation of test scenarios for vehicle onboard systems where full automation is not possible

If the process cannot be fully automated (due to lack of API, the need for human evaluation, or other human interaction) or full automation is uneconomical (because of solution complexity or low volume), an assisted testing system is available. This system guides the worker through the tasks, provides full support, and performs a significant portion of the activities on their behalf.

Expanding the capabilities of testing facilities with measurement and reporting systems

During manual testing in small-batch production, high demands are placed on human attention, accuracy, and consistency. A system that eases the operator’s workload in certain tasks allows them to focus on key activities that are either impossible or uneconomical to automate. The assisted test strictly follows the test sequence procedure, performs all tasks precisely, and supports its actions with a report complemented by data files such as debug logs, bus communication records, image documentation, measured physical quantities, and more.
