Use cases

Signal value monitoring

The software decodes CAN bus messages wrapped in the ISO-TP protocol using a file with the .isotp extension into frames and the data they contain. It then converts this data into a human-readable format and displays it on a simple timeline slider. A short communication history log is also shown.

Selected values can be added to a view called the dashboard to improve communication readability.

The dashboard display can take the form of a simple numeric value, binary indicator, analog gauge, time-based graph, histogram, or a custom-designed visual element developed to your specifications.

Bus communication trace

The software supports logging communication to a file, with multi-channel recording capabilities. The logging captures raw communication data without decoding signal values. Each incoming message is recorded on a separate line and includes: timestamp, device ID, channel, message ID, communication direction, message length, and the raw data itself.

Bus traffic control via terminal

The terminal offers a easy to read display of signals in frames, including parameters such as length and offset. It allows sending defined frames with the possibility to specify particular signal values and to save frames as macros.

A space for monitoring communication is available, which color-codes sent and received messages and displays brief data on the number of sent and received messages.
