Use cases
Test scenarios creation
Test scenarios are written using XML. To simplify the code writing, the software is equipped with a large number of intuitive menus that generate the necessary code on behalf of the tester.
A static analysis module is available for checking the correctness of the code, ensuring syntactic correctness and resource availability. This allows the test creator to fully concentrate on the logic of the test.
The environment allows the creation of simple linear scenarios as well as complex tests with runtime events and background simulations.
Running tests
The application allows you to run tests, monitor their progress and create reports.
Tests can be run individually, sequentially, in groups or from remote control systems.
Test scenario reference and source file management
The test environment offers the possibility to manage source data and reference data.
The source data are the basis for the test run, the reference data are the patterns against which the data obtained during the test run are compared.
The gallery manager takes care of the image documents, the album manager takes care of the sound files and the atlases group the map documents. It is also possible to manage almanacs for navigation services, test documents for language mutations and V2X service reports.
Scripting
Scripts are short test-like scripts that do not generate a report.
Their purpose is to simplify the test creator’s work and eliminate repetitive activities.
Scripts are created in the same environment as tests and differ by a header entry.
